Iryna Aniushkevich: Hi all, my name is Iryna and about a year ago i moved from Belarus to Austin. Belarus locates between Russia and Poland. I have been transferred and accepted by UT for exercise science major. I voted a couple times in my life back home, but I do not think my vote mattered or was even accounted. Belarus is not as famous for it’s democratic elections. According to the quiz, my political ideology is “New coalition democrat”. I read statements that they provide about and it more or less correspond my personal views. I did ok on Civic Literacy and Current Event quizzes although I just guessed the answers and did not know most of them. Taking GOVERNMENT cause is required in my degree plan. I understand the value of political science and will try hard on the class but honestly it is not the area that I am interesting in. Hopefully I will find better understanding of US government and politics after this course. Good luck to everyone!!
